広島皆実高校でのG7紹介のための実践授業

 4月26日に地域文化コースの教員（植村広美），学生（大瀬戸雅・奥廉人・佐々木涼香・民里美姫コリン）および本学大学院総合学術研究科情報マネジメント専攻のリアン・ロザリンド・ラッセルさんが広島皆実高校を訪れ，徳永泰子教諭の協力の下，3年生の英語の授業においてG7サミットを取り上げた実践授業を行いました。具体的にはG7サミットの目的，概要，開催国の決定方法，議長国の任期などを取り上げた解説をしました。

 卒業後に教員を志望する本学学生にとっては，授業の展開の仕方など実践を通じた学びの機械となり，また高校生にとってもアメリカ出身のリアンさんのお話は異文化を知り，G7サミットを理解する機会となりました。

Special class introducing the G7 Summit at Hiroshima Minami High School

 On 26 April, Dr. Uemura Hiromi, four undergraduate students (Ms. Osedo Miyabi, Mr. Oku Rento, Ms. Sasaki Suzuka, Ms. Tamisato Miki Colene) from the Regional Culture Studies and a graduate student from the USA, Ms. Leanne Rosalind Russell, visited Hiroshima Minami High School. They held a special lesson for the third-year students in an English class with the cooperation of Ms. Tokunaga Yasuko. Specifically, they focused on the purpose of the G7 Summit, its outline, how the host country is decided and the term of the presiding country.

 For our students who want to become teachers after graduation, it was an opportunity to learn how to develop the class through practice, and for high school students, Ms. Russell's talk was an opportunity to learn about different cultures and understand the G7 summit.
