JICA研修員が庄原キャンパスで研修中です

　独立行政法人国際協力機構（JICA）において，大学の学位過程での専門知識の付与を目的に実施する研修員受入プログラムを実施していますが，本学は当該研修員を受け入れる大学となっています。

　アフリカの若者のための産業人材育成イニシアティブ（ABEイニシアティブ）「博士課程およびインターンシップ」プログラムの制度を利用して本学大学院生命システム科学専攻の博士課程前期に令和４年９月から入学した，ルワンダ共和国からの研修生クイゼラさんが本学庄原キャンパスにて研修を始めておられます。クイゼラさんは生物資源科学部の荻田研究室にて，植物バイオテクノロジーを活用した農業生産の分野を学修しておられ，母国ルワンダの農業の発展に寄与されるべく，生産性の高い農業技術の習得に向け，まい進されています。

 

　The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) runs a trainee acceptance programme for the purpose of imparting expertise during the university degree process, and PUH is one of the universities that accepts the trainees.

　Mr Kwizera, a trainee from the Republic of Rwanda, has started training at PUH Shobara Campus since September 2022. He entered the Program in Biological System Sciences, under the "Doctoral Course and Internship "African Business Education Initiative for Youth (ABE Initiative). He is studying agricultural production using plant biotechnology in the Ogita Laboratory of the Faculty of Bioresource Sciences, and is working hard to acquire highly productive agricultural technology in order to contribute to the development of agriculture in his home country.
